SMS/TEXT MESSAGING (CLIENT COMMUNICATIONS)
This section describes how Ledgers Bookkeeping LLC uses SMS/text messaging for 1-to-1, conversational communications with clients and prospective clients. This applies to text messages sent or received using Ledgers business phone numbers (including individual team member lines). This SMS section also serves as our SMS Terms & Conditions disclosure.
What we use SMS for
We use SMS for:
scheduling and appointment coordination
client support and service-related questions
requesting documents or information needed to deliver our services
status updates and follow-ups related to our services
responding when you reach out to us
We do not use SMS to send unsolicited messages or mass marketing blasts.
Opt-in and consent
You may opt in to receive texts from Ledgers by:
providing verbal consent to receive texts from your Ledgers representative, and/or
initiating a text conversation with a Ledgers business number
Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Msg frequency varies based on what is needed to contact you, follow up with you, request additional information from you, or respond when you reach out to us.

Msg & data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.
Opt-out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you may receive one final confirmation message, and then no further messages (unless you re-opt in). To re-subscribe, reply START.

Privacy and sharing (SMS-specific)
We do not sell your phone number. We use your phone number to communicate with you about our Services and to provide support. We may share information with service providers that help deliver communications (for example, messaging/telephony providers) as described in “Service Providers” below.
Sensitive information
Do not text sensitive information such as passwords, MFA codes, bank login credentials, Social Security numbers, or full account numbers. If sensitive details are needed, we will ask you to use a more secure channel.
